Hi all apart from my crafts business Magic Lady Crafts I am also a full time childminder and sometimes find it a very lonely occupation. I find it even harder when people look on me as a glorified babysitter and when Itry to explain that you are actually trying to build a homebased childcare business and at the moment an taking my Diploma in Homebased Childcare and have lots of other certificates, they just laugh at me. I am sure there are other womenin the uk like this doing the same thing as me and could do with someone to chat to so I have started the group Childminders UK please come along and join. Having someone to chat to and swap ideas about childcare and qualifications is always nice.

:) stick on in there Sandie, i think a lot of home based workers find that family and friends dont take what they are doing as serious work.
