I work from home as a Virtual Assistant. My business is called Plan-It Purple Virtual Assistance. This means I can take on any of your administrative or secretarial tasks either on an ad-hoc or an ongoing basis depending on your requirements.

I sell cosmetics via the internet working from home, it (sort of) fits around the kids though unfortunately if they need me they always look in the office first... so I guess my kids fit round me working! As they grow I am having to share the 'puter more... littlest loves playing on CBeebies!

I am a childminder and sell crafts online, my children are now grown up but I now care for their children whilst they are at work, during term time I have three little ones to care for, going to toddler groups via the post office. But during the holidays I can have up to eight children ranging from 4mths old to 14yrs so it gets a bit hectic and then have to do all my orders from the website in the evening as no chance of getting near a computer during the day with all of them. Good job us women can multi task. :)

I work from home running a website for stallholders, events and fundraising info called Stallfinder which launched in March. I also sell cards and craft kits for 2 direct sales companies plus I make and sell my own cards, although my website takes up most of my time now.

I run "Northern Ireland Mums Online" website. Start chatting instantly with our instant messenger! Giving an opportunity for mums of boys & girls to discuss and reach out to each other. Share & discover new places of interest for young children and generally have some fun. Unwanted or outgrown items can be swapped or sold, including toys, books & games. All you need to do is contact nirelandmumsonline@yahoo.co.uk to receive details.

There are also opportunities for mums and other businesses to advertise. Advertising space is valuable and available at www.nirelandmumsonline.co.uk/
