I enjoyed child development, very interesting course. Perhaps the different start was experimental, the only prob I can see with Oct to June is it will be hectic over christmas :)
That's very strange isn't it, I wonder if they are going to change others too, I'll go have a look on the webby.
I would say that this is the hardest one I've done so far, and for a while it really put me off the idea of a level 3 (my thinking being "if I can't cope with this level 2 30 pointer how on earth will I manage a 60 point level 3?!") but I've been told by a few peeps that have done both that the biology is the hardest so I'm hanging in there. I and others on the course board have said 30 points are not enough reward for the effort!! The OU does suggest not doing a level 3 along side it as it would be too arduous, though I've always wimped out of doing two courses simultaneously anyway, lol.
mm, that's strange, all my courses are feb-oct (dse212 was too). Those 8 months will whizz by trust me!
Yes the biology is a bit of a slog I have to admit and at times I'm not convinced I'm reading english, lol! I, and some others are a bit surprised (and miffed) that it's only a 30 pointer too.
